I don’t have a great eye for subtle composition; I typically go more for the grand landscape with a nuclear sunset, tons of color and contrast, a big foreground element, and lots of jagged, mountainous shapes. However, with snow blanketing the countryside, I went for a more subdued texture here. It doesn’t come naturally to me, but I must say, I’m pleased with this one. February 2021.
