It saddens me to read this special spot has been closed indefinitely due to recent vandalism. Though not on any official maps, it isn't terribly difficult to get to; you just have to know where the cave is located. It's on the side of a cliff and you'd never see it if you didn't know to look for it. This is one of my favorite hikes I've ever done and I had this entire secluded space to myself. It's easy to imagine a primeval tribe gathering here, as it was a sacred place. June 2015.
