On my way to scout for wildlife, I was initially disappointed to see heavy fog when I awoke. Just as the sun neared the horizon, the fog began to lift, leaving a fleeting, golden incandescence for just a few brief minutes. It was eery being surrounded by such powerful beasts, only to have them meld in and out of the foggy conditions. July 2018.
