On the hike in I thought I might take a little dip in this natural limestone pool so I could say I had, but it was a crisp 35° and just standing shin deep in the river was surely cold enough. Maybe I'll go take a bath sometime in the summer, though I'm sure the mountain water will still be quite cool. I managed to stay vertical while scaling the slick wall down into this bowl, and then managed to bust my ass and camera a few miles later on the final easy river crossing of the hike.
