6.12.17 - A series from this wild sunset over the Palo Duro Canyon, as previously seen here. The colors shifted by the second, so I was frantically running around trying (and failing) to capture everything. The two panoramas can be clicked to view in a larger resolution.
6.12.17 - This is the first photo from a truly wild sunset as a monsoon developed right over the Palo Duro. The cloud continually shifted colors in the fading light as it rolled toward me over the canyon and stormed on the far rim. This photo is really just the tip of the iceberg as the cloud had just formed. More to come showing the way it progressed as time allows.
6.12.17 - During a truly spectacular sunset, a massive monsoon cloud rolled through and began pummeling the opposite side of the canyon. When the light faded, I stayed to take some long exposures of this lonesome house perched on the mesa.
