6.20.18 - While on a short hike, I found this herd of wild ponies grazing. Their hair is so interesting to see on horses; the way they flip their heads to get the hair out of their eyes is eerily humanlike. The little colt kept repeating the process of running around and then slumping down, exhausted.

6.12.17 - A series from this wild sunset over the Palo Duro Canyon, as previously seen here. The colors shifted by the second, so I was frantically running around trying (and failing) to capture everything. The two panoramas can be clicked to view in a larger resolution.
7.8.17 - More photos from the Palouse. And yes, another gratuitous Cormac McCarthy reference.
6.12.17 - This is the first photo from a truly wild sunset as a monsoon developed right over the Palo Duro. The cloud continually shifted colors in the fading light as it rolled toward me over the canyon and stormed on the far rim. This photo is really just the tip of the iceberg as the cloud had just formed. More to come showing the way it progressed as time allows.

6.12.17 - During a truly spectacular sunset, a massive monsoon cloud rolled through and began pummeling the opposite side of the canyon. When the light faded, I stayed to take some long exposures of this lonesome house perched on the mesa.
7.8.17 - The full moon rising over the endless sea of gold and green was amazing, both from above and ground level.
