3.1.20 - The final morning of the trip, a day when I hadn't even planned to take photos, wound up having the best light. I woke up way too early after the wedding and stuck my head out the door to discover the first traces of warm light hitting the clouds in the sky. Grabbing my camera, I raced up to the square to get a clean photo of Agua Volcano dwarfing the city of Antigua.
4.27.19 - I was trying to clear additional space on a hard drive and I accidentally ended up processing a panorama from the spring, creating a 5GB file. Oops! So much for clearing space... Anyway, this is not fall foliage, but rather the first touches of spring. The sun cresting the horizon is providing the warm hues on the mountaintops. Although the photo looks peaceful, this morning was incredibly windy, even blowing over my heaviest beast of a tripod. I nearly froze on top of the mountain taking this photo. Click for larger.

1.31.19 - Cold weather meant an hour delay from school, so I was able to go watch the sunrise. Unfortunately there wasn't any fun cloud action, but the frozen grass at the edge of the reservoir made for an interesting focal point.
11.4.18 - While out searching for elk, I caught these two fishmermen enjoying a brisk fall morning on the river.
A couple of sunrises from around Charlottesville the past week. 1.6.19 in front of the Rotunda and 1.10.19 in Charlottesville.
