6.20.18 - Since this view faces west, it's more of a sunset location, but the night I was there was rather drab, so the sunrise photos will have to suffice for the time being. This is in the Allegheny Highlands outside of Covington, Virginia.

6.21.18 - One of the most bizarre and spectacular places I've seen in Virginia, the only slot canyons I've experienced outside of the Southwest. I can't wait to go back and hike this again with different weather conditions.

6.17.18 - I could tell this sunset was going to be a real spitfire, but I was in a pretty barren area, frantically searching for something to point my camera at! Right as the colors started to open up, I found a small patch of wildflowers. The colors really popped right as I got my tripod set up. I got off a few frames just as the reds bloomed and almost immediately dissipated into the cool blue of twilight.
